The CC STOS project assumes the implementation of two basic goals: investment (construction of the building for CI TASK) and development (creating a competence center for four hi-tech technologies: Computing Cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), Huge Data Sets (Big Data) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Thanks to the creation of modern and safe server rooms, it will be possible to install appropriate servers, including supercomputers and disk systems, and thus to collect and analyze various types of data, including intradisciplinary ones. Producing intelligent SMART services, enabling the construction of cloud applications oriented to the needs of science as well as economy, administration and business. In addition, conditions will be created for further growth of the CI TASK and large-scale computing, including increasing the resources of the computing cloud TASKcloud, as well as for the creation of new laboratories as part of other projects carried out at CI TASK.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Program of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The value of the project is PLN 155,736,786.65. The general contractor of the investment is NDI Spółka z o.o. and NDI Sopot SA based in Sopot. The architectural design was prepared by the Arch-Deco Sp. z o.o.
